BSNL has revised its Bharat Fiber broadband plans in anticipation of the Jio GigaFiber’s appealing pricing strategies. BSNL has currently revised only two plans of the Bharat Fiber service and in both the plans, change has been made to the prices of the plans. However, in terms of benefits, subscribers are going to get more than before. This was first reported by Telecom Talk.
The first plan costs Rs 777 and so far has been offering 500GB per month. However, the revision has now given a data allocation of 600GB data per month and the monthly rental charge has been raised to Rs 849 per month. On top of that, the allocated speeds have been retained at 50Mbps but once the data limit is exhausted, the speed goes down to 2Mbps. Subscribers are also getting unlimited calls.
The second plan has been offering 50GB data per month so far but now, the revision will offer up to 55GB data per month. This plan will offer data speeds of 100Mbps and after the limit is exhausted, the speed goes down to 4Mbps. The price of the plan has also been increased from Rs 3,999 to Rs 4,499.
